Football fans worldwide are gearing up for an electrifying start to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, which kicks off in the United States on June 14 with a headline match between Inter Miami and Egyptian giants Al Ahly at the iconic Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. This opening clash marks the first time the revamped 32-team tournament will be hosted in the U.S., turning America into the epicenter of global club football this summer.

The month-long spectacle will culminate in a dramatic finale on July 13 at the massive MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, promising fans a historic showdown between the world’s top clubs.

This year’s FIFA Club World Cup isn’t just about crowning the best club in the world-it’s about scale, spectacle, and global competition. With 63 matches scheduled across eleven major U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, and Washington D.C., the tournament promises wall-to-wall action for football lovers across North America and beyond.

Inter Miami, co-owned by football legend David Beckham, is poised to make headlines, especially with the likely inclusion of global superstar Lionel Messi, adding star power and media buzz to the kickoff. Facing Al Ahly, one of Africa’s most decorated clubs and a powerhouse from Egypt, the opener sets the tone for a tournament rich in drama and prestige.

The tournament’s group stage will run until June 26, after which the top two teams from each group will advance to the 16-team knockout phase starting June 28. Each match could be a do-or-die battle, with global bragging rights and historic glory on the line.
