“Diddy didn’t try to kill me!” – Jamie Foxx breaks silence on wild conspiracy theories

Hollywood star Jamie Foxx has finally addressed the outrageous conspiracy theory linking music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs to his near-fatal medical crisis in 2023. In a no-holds-barred roundtable with The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, Foxx dismissed rumors that Diddy had any role in the mysterious health scare that nearly ended his life.

The award-winning actor and comedian, who was hospitalized in April 2023 following a stroke caused by a brain bleed, made it clear that the embattled producer—currently facing federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges in New York, had nothing to do with his medical emergency.

Foxx, however, admitted that the cocktail of powerful medications he was given during his hospitalization led him to believe in one of the internet’s most bizarre conspiracy theories: that doctors were trying to clone him into a white man, to boost his global market appeal.

Recalling the surreal moment, Foxx said, “I’m lying in the hospital bed, thinking, ‘These crazy people are out to clone me.’ Then I looked up and saw a version of myself walking into the room, but he was white. I literally saw the white me.”

The actor revealed he confronted his psychiatrist, telling him, “I know what you’re doing. You’re trying to make the white version of Jamie Foxx, and it’s not happening.” In response, doctors reportedly lowered his painkiller dosage, which included OxyContin, Dilantin, and morphine, medications known to trigger vivid hallucinations.

Foxx acknowledged how wild the theory sounded but defended his paranoia by stressing he was heavily sedated at the time. The actor had previously joked about the wild speculation in his 2024 Netflix stand-up special What Had Happened Was, where he quipped, “Absolutely not, I left those parties early.”

The speculation stems from Foxx’s past appearances at Diddy’s legendary parties, which have come under scrutiny amid ongoing investigations into the hip-hop mogul’s alleged involvement in sex trafficking operations. Diddy, who has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty, faces a potential life sentence if convicted.

While Foxx has since distanced himself from the Bad Boy Records founder, he made it clear in his latest remarks that Diddy had no hand in his health crisis. “No, Diddy didn’t try to kill me,” Foxx said, shutting down the internet frenzy once and for all.

The revelation adds another layer to the increasingly dramatic saga surrounding two of the entertainment industry’s biggest names, as fans continue to unpack the explosive allegations surrounding Diddy and the bizarre rumors tied to Foxx’s 2023 medical scare.
