Kid Cudi, whose statements are eagerly awaited around the globe, asserts that Cassie manipulated him during their 2011 connection.
The “Pursuit of Happiness” artist shared details on Thursday, during Diddy’s federal trial in New York City, elaborating extensively on his fleeting relationship with Cassie.
Cudi confessed that he believed Cassie deceived him when she indicated her affair with Diddy had ended, only to resume their relationship after breaking things off with him.
Diddy’s defense lawyer, Brian Steel, inquired if Cassie had “played” him. Cudi affirmed, responding with a “yes”.
Steel further probed, asking if he had no idea Cassie had reconciled with Diddy, to which Cudi admitted, “no clue.”
Kid Cudi informed the jury that his romance with Cassie lasted for less than a month and ended due to issues of safety and chaos.

He provided testimony that Diddy invaded his residence upon discovering his involvement with Cassie, adding that he was aware of Sean Combs’ violent tendencies.
Additionally, Cudi reported that his Porsche was destroyed by a Molotov cocktail around two weeks after his split with Cassie, leading him to suspect Diddy’s involvement.
He recounted an incident where, after confronting Diddy about the incident, Cassie entered the space, revealing that they had reunited.
Steel questioned Cudi whether Cassie “led two separate lives,” to which Cudi replied affirmatively.
Steel then queried if both he and Diddy were deceived by Cassie, to which Cudi accepted, stating, “True.”
