In preparation for the highly anticipated Taraba International Investment Summit, security agencies across Taraba State have carried out a coordinated show of force demonstrating their readiness to ensure the safety and security of participants and residents.
The operation, spearheaded by the Taraba State Police Command in collaboration with other sister security agencies, took place across key strategic locations throughout the state.
The exercise featured a heightened security presence designed to deter criminal elements, boost public confidence, and reaffirm the commitment of law enforcement to maintain peace and order throughout the summit period.
Deputy Commissioner of Police in- charge of Operations, Umar Didango who represented the Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Bretet stated that the operation is a proactive measure aimed at creating a secure environment before, during, and after the summit.
“As we prepare to welcome investors, guests, and dignitaries, it is crucial that we provide a safe and peaceful atmosphere.

“This show of force underscores our commitment to public safety and our determination to ensure the Summit proceeds without incident,” said Didango.
The state police command also called on the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to nearby security posts.
Officials stressed the importance of community cooperation in preserving peace, particularly during the high-profile international event.
Additional joint security personnel have been deployed to known hotspots, parks, and other public areas to enhance surveillance and ensure rapid response to any potential threats.
