Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has mourned Late Udu Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Barr. Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu I.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences to the people of Udu Kingdom and the Urhobo nation, in a heartfelt message the Governor praised the late monarch’s exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of the people throughout his remarkable 31-year reign.
Signed by Governor Oborevwori’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the condolence message conveyed the Governor’s sorrow and extended sympathy on behalf of his family, the Delta State government, and the people of Delta State. “On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Delta State, I extend my deepest condolences to the family, Udu Kingdom, and the entire Urhobo nation on the passing of His Royal Majesty, Barr. Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu I,” Governor Oborevwori wrote. “His reign brought about remarkable development and cohesion within the kingdom,” he continued.
