Chidinma Ojukwu tells court how she found Super TV CEO Michael Usifo Ataga dead today, April 17, in a Lagos High Court.
During her emotional recounting, she described the moment she discovered Ataga’s lifeless body in a short-let apartment in Lekki on June 15, 2021.
After returning from buying food and juice, she knocked on the door several times without an answer, eventually pushing it open to find blood on the floor and Ataga lying motionless.

Chidinma Ojukwu shared details of her relationship with Ataga, which began in November 2020 through a mutual friend.
She described him as kind and supportive, highlighting how he helped pay her school fees and funded her cosmetics business. Ataga, who had three children with his estranged wife, had invited Chidinma to spend time with him before his upcoming birthday celebration in Abuja.
On June 13, they checked into a short-let apartment in Lekki due to renovations at his home.
Chidinma Ojukwu recounted their activities, including dining out and returning to the apartment for wine and smoking.
The following day, Ataga requested cannabis and gave Chidinma money for both that and food.
However, after a delay in returning to the apartment due to COVID-related restrictions, she was met with the shocking sight of Ataga’s body.
