In response to increasing security concerns, the Gombe State Police Command has announced a restriction on movement during late-night hours.
The curfew, which takes effect from February 7, 2025, will prohibit movement between 12:00a.m and 5:00a.m.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Buhari Abdullahi, intelligence reports indicate a rise in threats to public safety, prompting the command to take preventive measures.
The police emphasized that the decision aims to protect lives and property, urging residents to comply with the new directive.

Parents and guardians have been advised to caution their wards against violating the restriction, as the police will enforce the order strictly.
