Normalcy has been restored in the heavily industrialized Onne Community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, following the clash between rival cult groups that left three persons dead at the weekend.
As at Monday morning when our correspondent visited the area, normalcy had returned and businesses that were forced to close following the crisis have opened their doors to customers, while residents who had fled their homes have returned back.

The weekend violence our reporter learnt, occurred as a rival cult group sought to avenge the attack on its members by another cult group, forcing businesses to close and frightened residents to flee their homes.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the incident, identified a notorious cultist known as ‘Small Lighter’ as among the three persons killed in the clash.
