Adam, the beloved adopted son of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu, will be laid to rest today, following his tragic passing in a car accident. The funeral prayer will be held in accordance with Islamic rites, at the National Mosque in Abuja at 1 PM, shortly after the Zuhr prayer. Thereafter Adam will be buried at Gudu Cemetery in a solemn ceremony with family, friends, and well-wishers.

Adam, who was raised by CP Disu since the age of two, passed away on Tuesday after a horrific car crash involving a BMW on Monday. His untimely death has left many in shock, as he was deeply cherished by those who knew him.

The loss of Adam has led to an overwhelming outpouring of condolences from colleagues, friends, and members of the public, all expressing their heartfelt sympathies to CP Disu and his family during this devastating time.

CP Disu, who recently took over leadership of the FCT Police Command, demonstrated the strength of his character earlier this week when he paid a condolence visit to CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer of Ushafa Division, who also experienced the loss of his son. During the visit, CP Disu offered his heartfelt sympathies and reassured the family of the Command’s unwavering support.

This heartbreaking incident has cast a shadow over the FCT Police Command, as the loss of Adam serves as a poignant reminder of life’s fragility. The legacy of his kindness and the love he shared with those around him will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

Our thoughts and prayers are with CP Disu and his family during this period of mourning. May Adam’s soul rest in peace.
