Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed heartfelt sympathy to the government and people of Borno State following a terrorist attack that left several farmers dead and many others missing in the Dumba community, near Baga, in the Kukawa Local Government Area of the North East.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor condemned the attack, describing it as “heinous and horrific.” He lamented the tragic loss of lives, emphasizing that the news of the attack was deeply saddening for every responsible Nigerian.

Governor Bago praised the efforts of security agencies in the ongoing fight against terrorism in the country but urged them to intensify their efforts to ensure lasting peace and security for all Nigerians. He assured the Borno State government of the continued support of his administration in tackling these grave security challenges.
The Governor extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the repose of their souls. He also expressed hope that those still missing would soon be safely reunited with their loved ones.
