Former Minister of Finance, Nenadi Usman, Governors of Plateau and Adamawa States, Caleb Muftwang and Umaru Fintiri took to their X handle to heartily congratulate President John Dramani Mahama on his assumption of office as the 14th president of Ghana.
They stated in their respective X handles that Mahama’s inauguration marks a new chapter in Ghana’s democratic journey, as it reflects the trust and confidence that Ghanaians have placed on his leadership acumen.
Nenadi Usman said: “Your commitment to service, unity, and progress for Ghana and the African continent is obvious.”

Governor Caleb, who was at the inauguration described Mahama’s election as president, a celebration of leadership and a testament to the unwavering resolution of Ghanians sacred tenet of democracy.
Governor Fintiri, who was also in attendance, said he stands in solidarity with President Mahama as he begins his new chapter of leadership.
Nenadi Usman, who is presently the chairperson of the Labor Party caretaker committee, further lauded the Ghanaian president as a nation-builder and advocate for justice.
“Your presidency holds the promise of greater prosperity for the people of Ghana. The Labour Party and I believe that your leadership will foster peace, inclusiveness and policies that uplift every Ghanaian”.
