The teacher, Emeka Nwogbo is the son of the proprietress of the private school and he has been arrested by the police.
Delta State Commissioner for Basic Education Chika Ossai explained that the government’s decision to seal up the school was because it does not have an operational licence and is not a government-approved institution.
However, the accused teacher is currently in police custody while investigations are ongoing. The Delta State Police Command spokesperson DSP Bright Edafe, said they have commenced investigations into Udeze’s death.
