Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has strengthened its structures as it intensifies efforts to ensure the victory of its candidate, Agboola Ajayi at the poll.
This is just as party stakeholders in the state passed a vote of confidence on the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba for his leadership roles, particularly toward the success of the party in the governorship election.
Executive members, leaders and other stakeholders of the party in Ward 7 Akoko South West Local Government Area rose from a crucial meeting last weekend in Oka Akoko, calling on all members of the party across Ondo State to remain united and continue to work hard for the victory of the PDP and its candidate at the election.
In the resolution which was signed by the ward Chairman, Adeloye Adeniyi and other officers of the party, resolved to intensify efforts individually and collectively towards the victory of the PDP and its governorship candidate.
They also commended all the elected PDP officers at all levels in Ondo State for their continued steadfastness and commitment to the unity, stability, growth and success of the party, especially towards the forthcoming November 16, 2024 governorship election in the state.

The meeting particularly noted the activities of Ologunagba as the national publicity secretary of the PDP and commended him for his sterling qualities.
“Accordingly, the chapter unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Debo Ologunagba, as the highest-ranking party officer from the state, for his outstanding leadership roles at the ward and other levels of the party in the state as well as his impressive performance as the mouthpiece of the party at the national level”, the resolution stated.
The ward executive also pledged to continue to support Ologunagba and other leaders of the party in Ondo State in the discharge of their duties.
Expressing confidence that the PDP candidate will emerge victorious at the governorship election in Ondo State, the ward executive urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure that the election is free, fair and credible.
