Elomaz Foundation has donated food items to over 400 widows and Orphanage Homes in Isoko North and South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Director General of Elomaz Foundation, Mrs Veronica Odogu, who was represented by the Secretary of the Foundation, Mrs Peace Akalekor, told Journalists in Oleh during the distribution exercise that the gesture was to commemorate Christmas, New Year and as well as to support some underprivileged people in the society.
Bags of rice, vegetable oil, cartoons of tomato paste, condiments, and other provisions were distributed to the Orphanage homes, while the widows smiled Home with bags of rice and cash.
She said; “The project was an annual project aimed at empowering the widows, less privileged in many ways, especially in these trying times.
“We have four sets of activities that we carry out every year. This is one of them, which we are giving out packages to widows across the Isoko nation including the registered Orphanage Homes in Isoko nation to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
“Also we are set to register over 1000 students for JAMB this year coupled with our FREE JAMB LECTURES. All these projects are done single-handedly by the founder of the foundation, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and they are not politically motivated.

“In this January, we will award scholarships to the best student in each class across some selected schools in Isoko nation, in each school 6 students will be given scholarships under the Elomaz Foundation Students Assistance Scheme.”
In an interview with some of the widows, they all commended Elomaz Foundation for the kind gesture and as well prayed to God to bless and uplift the owner in all his endeavours.
Appreciating the kind gesture of Elomaz Foundation, Rev. Great Abraham, founder of the Children Revolutionary Foundation Irri, said, “He has always come around to support us, he is one of our best partners. During the 2022 flood when we were completely abandoned, he was the only one who remembered us and brought food items and relief materials for us and many more. We pray that God will release for him whatever he wants,” he added.
In their separate responses, the founder of Ugholeh Orphanage Home, Oleh, Mrs Queen James and the founder of Aruka Peace Foundation, Rev. (Dr) Mrs Agbaka Aruka Peace, said; “This kind gesture is wonderful, heartwarming for us and the children. He is doing according to the word of God.
”It is something we have always looked forward to and God has done it through Elomaz Foundation owned by Sen. Joel-onowakpo Thomas”.
