The Borno state command of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), have urged the people of the state to disregard the rumours making the round over the alleged disappearance of male genital organ (Penis).
Making the call today via a press statement made available to media practitioners in the state, the command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Nahum Daso Kenneth, said the command has received several complaints of misinformation spread by some individuals who alleged the disappearance of their male genital organ (Penis) usually after exchanging pleasantries with strangers in their neighbourhood.
According to the command, the victims who reported the alleged disappearance of their Penis were all taken to the hospital.
Adding that reports received after medical examination indicate that the allegations were all baseless as their genital organ remains intact and functional.

Urging the people of the state not to panic and remain law-abiding, he said they should disregard such misinformation.
He stated that such misinformation is capable of causing disaffection and disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in the state.
The command also beckoned on the law-abiding citizens of the state to go about their lawful pursuits without the fear of molestation.

Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, has in recent times been enveloped by reports of alleged disappearance of male genital organs.
