Bosnia’s club FK Sarajevo have signed Nigerian defender Mohammed Musa on a free transfer from HNK Gorica in the Turkish topflight league.

Musa, who moved to Europe to sign a €300Th with Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkish Super Liga, made a series of loan moves where he featured for Zeljeznicar in Bosnia’s topflight league before making a move to Bulgarian Parva Liga to join Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

The 25-year-old versatile defender can play in both defensive wings and has featured for HNK Gorica in either of the positions in the Croatian topflight league, Supersport HNL.

Playing in one of his roles, Musa scored the second goal against Hrv Dragovoljac last season in a 4-0 victory after his fellow compatriot and Nigeria forward Iyayi Atiemwen opened the scoresheet from the penalty spot at SRC Velika Gorica Stadium.
