The controversial internet personality made this known in a fresh statement shared on his personal Instagram account, where he compared his experience living abroad with his previous life in Nigeria.
According to Bobrisky, leaving the country has given him peace of mind, happiness and an opportunity to focus on personal growth without being caught up in daily controversies.
“Nigeria is such a toxic environment”
He described Nigeria as a toxic environment where people constantly engage in fights, arguments, gossip and public disagreements.
“I can tell you for free, Nigeria is such a toxic environment. Every day, it’s one fight, drama, or gossip after another. Leaving that space has brought me so much peace, and honestly, I’ve never looked this pretty, happy, and refreshed in my life!” he said.
Bobrisky further claimed that he had spent almost two years outside Nigeria without having a personal fight or public disagreement with anyone.
He said the experience had reinforced his decision to stay away from situations that could threaten his happiness and emotional well-being.
“For almost two years now, I haven’t had a single drama or fight with anyone, and I intend to keep it that way,” he added.
Emphasising his determination to maintain his current lifestyle, the socialite said he would no longer allow people or circumstances to disrupt the peace he claimed to have found.
“Peace looks so good on me, and I promise myself that I will never allow anyone or anything to take this beautiful peace away from me. I’m protecting my happiness, my growth, and my peace at all costs!” he declared.
How Bobrisky left Nigeria
Bobrisky’s latest comments come nearly two years after his departure from Nigeria in November 2024, following a series of legal controversies and public confrontations that kept him in the headlines.
In April 2024, the socialite was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment by the Federal High Court in Lagos after pleading guilty to charges bordering on the abuse of naira notes. The court handed down the sentence without an option of a fine.
His troubles continued after his release from prison, particularly in September 2024, when social media activist VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, released an audio recording allegedly involving Bobrisky and claims of financial inducements to influence his legal troubles.
The recording also contained allegations about his prison experience and alleged preferential treatment. Bobrisky denied the allegations, while the controversy triggered investigations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service.

In October 2024, Bobrisky was reportedly apprehended by immigration officials at the Seme border while attempting to leave Nigeria.
He was subsequently involved in another controversy in November when he was removed from a KLM flight at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
Following the incident, he announced on November 4, 2024, that he had finally left the country, explaining that he needed to prioritise his health and peace of mind.
At the time, he wrote: “Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily. I need to attend to my sanity and my health.”
He also alleged that some Nigerian security agencies had attempted to frustrate his travel plans, claiming that he had purchased three business-class tickets before successfully boarding a flight.
By March 2025, Bobrisky had adopted a stronger position on his relocation, declaring that he had no intention of returning to live in Nigeria.
He also spoke about finding an environment where he felt more accepted and respected, contrasting his experience abroad with what he described as bullying and judgment in Nigeria.
In July 2025, he again spoke about the difference relocation had made to his outlook on life, saying that issues considered major problems in Nigeria appeared less significant abroad.
