Fury-Joshua Fight Tickets Sell Out Amid Huge Demand
Demand for the all-British heavyweight clash surged shortly after tickets went on sale, with the reported online queue highlighting the enormous interest surrounding the long-awaited contest.
Ticket prices ranged from £88.50 to £13,128, including booking fees, reflecting the range of seating and hospitality options available for the event.
However, tickets quickly appeared on resale platforms at significantly higher prices. Ringside VIP seats were advertised for as much as £73,645, while some upper-tier seats were listed at £425.
The resale listings highlight the potential cost of securing a seat after the initial ticket allocation sells out. The advertised prices do not necessarily represent completed sales.
Fury-Joshua Fight to Be Broadcast on Netflix
The fight is expected to be broadcast globally on Netflix, bringing the heavyweight contest to audiences beyond those attending the event in Cardiff.
The event is being promoted through a collaboration involving Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and UFC chief Dana White. Organisers have yet to announce the undercard bouts.
Fury, 38, and Joshua, 36, are both former two-time world heavyweight champions. Despite years of speculation, negotiations and public interest, the British rivals have never met in a professional boxing contest.
Their agreement to fight has therefore generated significant attention among boxing fans, with the contest expected to be one of the most closely watched heavyweight matchups involving British fighters.
Why Fury and Joshua Chose Cardiff
The Principality Stadium in Cardiff emerged as the venue after other locations, including London’s Wembley Stadium and New York’s Madison Square Garden, were reportedly considered.
The Welsh stadium has previously hosted major boxing events, including Joe Calzaghe’s bout against Mikkel Kessler in November 2007, which began at around 1:00 a.m. GMT.
Ricky Hatton’s 2005 victory over Kostya Tszyu in Manchester also took place at approximately 2:00 a.m. local time, with scheduling designed to accommodate American television audiences.
For the Fury-Joshua contest, the fighters’ ring walks are expected at around 1:00 a.m. GMT on Saturday, December 12, while the stadium is scheduled to remain open until 3:30 a.m.

Promotional Dispute Threatened Fury-Joshua Fight
The event reportedly faced uncertainty less than two weeks before the latest announcement of its arrangements because of a disagreement over White’s promotional role.
Netflix had announced that The Ring and White would work together to promote the contest. However, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, argued that his fighter’s contract prevented White from taking on that role.
The dispute appeared to ease after Fury and Joshua met at a news conference on September 30 to begin promoting the fight.
The long-running negotiations surrounding the matchup have added to public interest in the contest, which has been discussed for years without the two boxers entering the ring against each other.
Fury and Joshua Set for Reported $200 Million Purse
The two fighters are reportedly expected to share a purse approaching $200 million (£151 million), potentially placing the contest among the most lucrative bouts in heavyweight boxing history.
The reported figure reflects the commercial expectations surrounding a fight between two of Britain’s most recognisable heavyweight boxers.
With tickets reportedly selling out rapidly, international broadcast arrangements and substantial financial stakes, the Fury-Joshua showdown is generating considerable interest ahead of fight night. For more heavyweight boxing coverage, see BBC Sport Boxing.
