The Nigeria Shooting Sport Federation (NSSF) is set to unveil the National Integrated Shooting Sport Platform (NISSP), a new digital initiative aimed at improving transparency, information management and engagement in shooting sports across Nigeria.

The federation in a statement on Friday announced that the official virtual and product launch of the platform will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the 1212 Polo Resort, Ahmadu Bello Way, Gwarimpa, Abuja.
The event, scheduled for 10:00am to 11:30am, will be held under the theme, “One Federation. One Platform. Built for Trust.”
According to the NSSF, the digital platform is designed to reposition shooting sports in Nigeria by providing real-time access to information on athletes, competitions, rankings, membership and the federation’s global affiliations.
The federation has invited members of the public, particularly personnel and representatives of military and para-military organisations, affiliated organisations, sports journalists and media organisations to attend the unveiling.
Who Will Host the Launch
The event will be hosted by the NSSF Secretary General, while Commodore M.S. Shettima, President of the Nigeria Shooting Sport Federation, will serve as the Chief Host.
The federation said the launch will coincide with the National War College Shooting Competition and will feature a live demonstration of the NISSP portal.

Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with federation officials and national athletes during the programme.
For those unable to attend physically, the NSSF said the event will also be accessible virtually through a dedicated Zoom platform.
The federation described the initiative as an important step in opening a new chapter for shooting sports administration and digital engagement in Nigeria.
