Seven days to the BBNaija Season 11 finale, the 10 remaining housemates are preparing for the final showdown after a season that has featured multiple evictions, a voluntary withdrawal, a disqualification, relationships, controversies and unexpected twists.
Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram have all secured places in the October 4 finale and remain in contention for the ₦160 million grand prize.
The development follows Barry’s decision to use his Ultimate Veto Power to select “immunity for all,” protecting the remaining housemates and effectively sending the final 10 into the last stage of the competition.
Keivo subsequently won the week nine head of house title as the housemates entered the final stretch. The journey to the BBNaija Season 11 finale, however, has been a long one for the contestants.
The season started with 24 housemates on July 26, but only 10 remain after a series of exits that changed the dynamics of the competition.
Martins and Mercedes were among the first housemates to leave after the opening eviction, with Kamsy becoming another early casualty. Neche’s departure came under different circumstances after she voluntarily withdrew from the competition.
Unlike the other evicted housemates, Neche did not leave following a public vote. Her decision to quit the show became one of the early unexpected developments of Season 11.
Cassi, Sultex and Goddessa subsequently left the competition, while Gerard Adebija also exited after becoming involved in several conversations surrounding strategy, alliances and the politics of the house.
The season’s biggest disciplinary controversy came with the disqualification of Whitney “Nomy” Chukwu. Nomy had previously received a strike for repeatedly disobeying Big Brother’s instructions before another violation eventually resulted in her removal from the competition.
Her disqualification made her the only Season 11 housemate to leave through disciplinary action rather than the normal eviction process.
Abi and Araga were subsequently evicted in a double eviction. Abi had been one of the prominent contestants of the season, winning the Head of House position twice and receiving Most Influential Player recognition. One of them was the Gambit twist involving Aikou and Flora. The two entered the house as the male and female Gambits and initially received protection from eviction but were not eligible to win the grand prize.
Flora recorded 29.38 percent of the female Gambit vote, while Aikou secured 9.10 percent in the male category. Their situation changed after Biggie introduced “Operation Release the Gambit”, which allowed them to become eligible for the ₦160 million prize.
Both subsequently survived the competition and are now finalists. The Gambit storyline became one of the defining elements of the season because it transformed the journeys of two contestants who initially entered the game under different conditions from their fellow housemates.

The three contestants were announced as though their journeys had ended, but Biggie later revealed that the eviction was fake. They subsequently returned to the house, leaving all 10 finalists intact.
The twist became one of the final major talking points before the BBNaija Season 11 finale. With no further conventional eviction expected before the October 4 finale, attention has now shifted to the eventual winner and the stories each finalist has built throughout the season.
Aikou enters the final week with the Gambit-to-finalist storyline. Barry has the “Immunity For All” decision attached to his campaign. Flora has a similar Gambit comeback narrative. Keivo has gained momentum after winning the latest Head of House competition. Sheba has remained a consistent presence throughout the season.
Temi Nkem has maintained considerable visibility and has featured in several major storylines. Tram has combined survival with recent recognition as Most Influential Player. Ricky has survived multiple stages of the competition and the latest fake eviction. Bluethopia and Oyin have also navigated the season successfully despite being less central to some of the biggest controversies.

However, the final week has created a clear conversation around the housemates with the strongest narratives.

Martins, Mercedes, Kamsy, Neche, Cassi, Sultex, Goddessa, Gerard, Nomy, Abi, Araga, Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom are no longer in contention. Neche left voluntarily, while Nomy was disqualified. The remaining 12 departed through the eviction process. That leaves Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram as the final 10.
Seven days from the BBNaija Season 11 finale, the competition has moved beyond survival. The housemates have already secured their places. What remains is the final vote, the final performances and the final impression each contestant leaves with viewers.
On October 4, one housemate will emerge with the ₦160 million grand prize. But the “aftertaste” of Season 11 will be shaped by much more than the winner.
