The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has outlined how candidates can check complaints they previously submitted through its online support platform. The examination body explained the steps in an explainer video released on Thursday as part of its “JAMB Explained” series.
Key Highlights
- Candidates can retrieve a complaint through JAMB’s “Access Existing Ticket” option.
- They should use the email linked to their JAMB e-Facility profile.
- Candidates must also enter an existing ticket ID before submitting the request.
- After submission, they can click the ticket ID displayed in blue to view the complaint.
- JAMB advised candidates not to create a new ticket just to check an existing complaint.
How to Access an Existing JAMB Support Ticket
JAMB advised candidates who have already submitted complaints not to create another ticket simply to check the progress of an existing one. Candidates should visit the JAMB support platform and follow these steps:
- Open the support section. On a mobile device, select “Ticket/Support” from the menu.
- Choose “Access Existing Ticket.”
- Enter the email address connected to the candidate’s JAMB e-Facility profile.
- Enter any one of the candidate’s existing ticket IDs in the field below the email address.
- Submit the details, then click the ticket ID displayed in blue to open and view the complaint.
The board said the guide is intended to help candidates track existing complaints without creating unnecessary new support tickets.
