Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, in his desire to to strengthen governance, enhance service delivery and promote greater efficiency in the management of state affairs.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Ikhilor, said the minor cabinet reshuffle involves the re-deployment of four commissioners.

Ikhilor revealed that those redeployed are Felix Akhabue – from the Ministry of Water Resources to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development and Vincent Uwadiae, who was moved from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development to the Ministry of Water Resources.
Others commissioners affected by the reshuffling are Andrew Momodu, from the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy to the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources and Prof. Omorodion Ikponmwosa, who was moved from the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources to the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
Ikhilor averred that Governor Okpebholo demands “the affected commissioners to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear in their respective new portfolios and to remain committed to the administration’s SHINE Agenda for the sustainable development of Edo State.
The re-deployment takes immediate effect.
