The Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Enugu State, Chief Osinachi Nnajieze, has tasked the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) to continue its push on the provision of amenities in communities.
Nnajieze gave the task on Monday, when he paid a visit to the agency in Enugu.
He also appreciated the agency’s efforts in achieving open defecation free status through provision of critical social amenities in rural and semi-urban communities and settlements in the state.
Nnajieze also commended Governor Peter Mbah is backing the agency in discharging its mandate.
Responding, the General Manager of CSDA, Chief Monday Ani, described the visit as “showing that the agency is moving in the right direction and taking the right steps.”

He appreciated the commissioner for his contributions to the legal jurisprudence within the state and the entire country.
Ani said the agency has made social amenities, like potable water boreholes for drinking and toilets for conveniences in over 100 communities.
“These projects have gone a long way in ending open defacation, improving sanitation and health of individuals, families and communities in the state,” he said.
