Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed confidence that his eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., has the potential to surpass his extraordinary achievements in football, provided he develops the hunger and determination required to succeed at the highest level.

Speaking in a video shared by Netflix Sports while watching the 16-year-old train with Al Nassr’s youth team, Ronaldo noted that his son already enjoys a physical advantage he did not have as a teenager.
“When I was his age, he was a little bit bigger and stronger. I was smaller. I think he will be bigger than me,” Ronaldo said.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, however, stressed that physical development alone would not guarantee success in professional football.
Asked whether Cristiano Jr. possesses the same drive that has defined his own career, Ronaldo replied that the greatest challenge for any young player is maintaining the hunger to improve.
“Hunger is the most difficult,” he said.
Born on June 17, 2010, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. currently represents Al Nassr’s youth academy and has attracted global attention as he follows in the footsteps of one of football’s greatest players.
Now 41, Ronaldo has built one of the most successful careers in football history, winning 36 major trophies with Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr, and the Portugal national team.
