Nigeria’s and Egypt have qualified for the 2026 ITTF World Youth Championships billed to hold in Istanbul, Turkey, after their outstanding outing at the Youth Championships in Accra, Ghana.
The two table tennis powerhouses in the continent gained qualification after emerging champions in their respective team events at the continental competition.
Egypt proved their worth of experience and superiority in the championships, with its U-15 boys’ and girls’ teams as well as the U-19 girls’ team all claiming qualification for the global event, which will take place from November 21 to 28 in Istanbul.

The contingents of both nations have garnered enough experience to overcome the challenges from their European opponents at the Turkey championship.
