Abuja Car Limited has announced the arrival of Burna Boy’s ₦9 Billion Bugatti Chiron VXX Special Edition at its showroom, marking what the dealership describes as the biggest luxury automobile transaction in West Africa. The development comes weeks after Dubai-based customisation company Venuum unveiled what it claims is the world’s first widebody Bugatti Chiron.

Announcing the arrival on Instagram, Abuja Car wrote: “ABUJACAR ❌ BURNA BOY 🦍 THE MOST EXPENSIVE CAR IN WEST AFRICA. SOLD BY ABUJACAR 🤴 ₦9,000,000,000.”

The one-of-a-kind hypercar is based on the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport and has been extensively customised by Venuum to reflect the Grammy Award-winning Afrobeats star’s personal style. Among its distinctive features are bespoke exterior styling and “Burna Boy” graphics displayed on the massive carbon-fibre rear wing.

Chief Executive Officer of Abuja Car Limited, Sadiq Aminu, described the transaction as one of the most significant luxury automobile sales in the region, revealing that the customised Bugatti Chiron is valued at about ₦9 billion.

In a post shared on his Instagram Story, Aminu wrote: “How would you feel if you sold the most expensive car in West Africa? A car worth about ₦9 billion.”

Like every Bugatti Chiron, the VXX Special Edition is powered by an 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine that delivers 1,500 horsepower. The hypercar accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and has a top speed of 261 mph.

Following its arrival at the Abuja Car showroom, the bespoke Bugatti Chiron is expected to be transported to Lagos, where it will join Burna Boy’s growing collection of high-performance luxury vehicles, including a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Ferrari 812 GTS, McLaren Senna and Lamborghini Revuelto.

The arrival of Burna Boy’s ₦9 Billion Bugatti Chiron further reinforces the singer’s reputation as one of Africa’s biggest collectors of rare and exotic supercars.
