Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has opened up about a devastating family tragedy, revealing that he is the only surviving child among four sets of twins born by his mother.
The actor made the emotional disclosure during an appearance on Stirring Stories with Simisola, where he reflected on his upbringing, family values and the responsibilities of parenthood.
Ogogo said the loss of his seven siblings had a profound impact on his life, shaping his perspective and reinforcing the importance of taking responsibility as a parent.
Speaking on fatherhood, the veteran actor criticised men who abandon their children, warning that no one can escape their parental responsibilities forever.

“You are running away from your responsibilities. It is hanging up there in your house; you will still meet it and face it squarely whenever you come back home,” he said.
Addressing the growing number of single mothers, Ogogo acknowledged that some fathers fail in their duties but maintained that it would be unfair to label all men as irresponsible based on the actions of a few.
He stressed that every parent has a moral obligation to care for their children and should be held accountable for fulfilling that responsibility.
