FRSC To Hold 3-Day Special Road Safety Patrol In Adamawa

The Adamawa State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced plans to hold a three-day special safety patrol, code-named ‘Operation Harbin Kunama’ from July 20 -22, 2026.

According to a statement issued by the Sector Public Enlightenment Officer, A. H Tukur, the monthly operation is designed to reduce road traffic crashes caused by overloading, route violations, and excessive speeding.

The command said the exercise will involve intensified traffic law enforcement, public enlightenment campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and increased operational visibility across Adamawa State to enhance road safety.

Sector Commander Ibrahim Sadiq called on motorists, transport operators, and other road users to obey traffic rules and regulations, avoid dangerous driving practices, and cooperate with FRSC personnel throughout the operation.

He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to ensuring safer roads and appealed to all stakeholders to support the corps’ efforts toward achieving a crash-free motoring environment in Adamawa State.
