Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe has reacted emotionally after revealing that his application for a United States visa was denied.
Speaking during a his livestream, the entertainer expressed frustration over the difficulties many Nigerians face when trying to travel abroad, saying the experience made him feel “trapped” in the country.
According to Carter Efe, the visa rejection came despite his desire to visit the United States.
“Chat, I won’t lie to you. We’re trapped in this country. In case you don’t know, we’re trapped. We no fit go anywhere we want. We can’t go anywhere we want, bro. We’re finished. We’re doomed. I swear to God,” he said.

His remarks followed comments by popular American streamer Kai Cenat, who recently disclosed that he had tried to help Carter Efe obtain a U.S. visa, but the application was unsuccessful.
The reason for the visa refusal has not been disclosed, and neither Carter Efe nor U.S. authorities have provided further details.
The video has since gone viral on various social media, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy for the content creator, while others pointed out that U.S. visa decisions are made by consular officers based on individual eligibility and immigration laws.
