Popular Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has opened up about what he describes as one of the biggest mistakes of his life, urging young men to avoid having children with multiple women.
Speaking in a video shared on his Instagram page, Franklin said that while financial responsibility is important, the emotional and relational challenges that come with co-parenting with different partners can be overwhelming.
“One of the worst decisions you can ever make is to have kids with different women.
“No matter the money you think you have, that should never be a decision you make in your life,” he said.
The father of several children admitted that caring for the children themselves is not the most difficult part.
According to him, managing relationships and emotions between different mothers of one’s children often proves to be the greatest challenge.

“Taking care of them is not the problem, but managing the emotions of the adults who are their mothers. Let baby mama drama not be part of your life,” he added.
Franklin said he has reflected deeply on his personal experiences and wished he had made different choices regarding that aspect of his life.
While describing children as one of life’s greatest blessings, he encouraged young men to be intentional about building a family with one partner in order to avoid unnecessary complications in the future.
