The Nigeria Wrestling Federation has congratulated Bashir Adeniyi, the comptroller general of the Nigeria Customs Service following the extension of his tenure by President Bola Tinubu.
The Nigeria Wrestling Federation in a statement issued by the federation’s Media Assistant, Promise Okotoko, noted that the extension of Adeniyi’s tenure as customs comptroller general is well deserved.
The statement noted that Adeniyi, who doubles as the president of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, has demonstrated eagerness with a clear vision, and strong work ethics, while ensuring that customs personnel have a structured onboarding process for the seamless discharge of their duties.
The federation described the customs boss as a man who has innovative thinking and impeccable qualities, qualities it said has reflected on the numerous successes the customs has recorded in the past few years
Furthermore, it stressed that Adeniyi has simultaneously offered learning opportunities, mentorship, and developing high-potential personnel for future leadership roles within the customs.

The Nigeria Wrestling Federation expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for the confidence reposed on its president.
“Everyone at the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, particularly the NWF board, is extremely buzzing with the news of Adeniyi’s tenure being extended by the president.
“We are really proud of the job and administrative transformation he brought to the NSC, hence the president deemed him fit for tenure extension and we pray God almighty gives him more wisdom and strong health to continue to be a beacon of generational change,” the federation said.
