According to accounts shared by residents and the child’s mother on social media, the incident occurred after the mother briefly left her residence to purchase food, leaving her six-month-old baby under the supervision of his two brothers.

The mother explained that her eldest son later informed her that two unfamiliar women had entered their room while she was away.

Initially, she reportedly dismissed the information and continued with her errand. However, upon returning home, she discovered that her baby was nowhere to be found.

Alarmed by the development, she immediately raised an alarm and began searching for the child.

According to eyewitness accounts, a resident informed the distressed mother that two women had been seen carrying a baby and moving towards a waiting motorcycle.

The information prompted an immediate response from community members, who quickly organized a search operation to locate the child and apprehend the suspects.

Witnesses said the women were intercepted before they could leave the area.
