Popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Obi Cubana, has reportedly removed all Instagram posts linked to the City Boy Movement, sparking fresh reactions across social media.

The development follows criticism from some Nigerians over his perceived support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Obi Cubana had previously been unveiled as the South-East Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a political support group backing President Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda.

The City Boy Movement is a youth-driven advocacy platform known for organising rallies, campus engagements, empowerment programmes and humanitarian activities aimed at mobilising grassroots support for the Tinubu administration.

The group has also been involved in distributing relief materials and cash grants to vulnerable Nigerians in different parts of the country.

The reported removal of the posts has since triggered widespread speculation online, with social media users offering differing opinions on the possible reasons behind the move.
