NFF releases President Federation Cup Round of 64 fixtures

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially unveiled the fixtures for the men’s and women’s categories of the 2026 President Federation Cup following Friday’s draw ceremony held at the federation’s secretariat in Abuja.

  • Nigeria Football Federation conducted the draw for the 2026 President Federation Cup at its Abuja secretariat.
  • NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi stated that no club received an automatic bye, with the tournament maintaining its traditional knockout format.
  • Asaba was confirmed as the host city for the final of the competition.
  • Defending champions Kwara United were seeded first in the men’s draw, while Abakaliki FC occupied position 64.
  • Some notable men’s fixtures include Enyimba FC vs El Sharma FC, Rangers International vs Godswill Akpabio FC, and Sunshine Stars vs Niger Tornadoes.

Speaking during the event, NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi said this year’s competition format remains consistent with previous editions, stressing that no club received an automatic bye into the next round.

He assured participating teams and stakeholders that the country’s oldest domestic football competition would be conducted on a fair and transparent basis, with all regulations strictly enforced throughout the tournament.

The NFF also confirmed that Asaba will host the grand finale of this year’s President Federation Cup.

Defending champions Kwara United were seeded first in the men’s draw, while 2025 runners-up Abakaliki FC occupied position 64.

The tournament will continue in its traditional knockout format.
