A former aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Isoko North and South Federal Constituency of Delta State seat, Blessing Obomovo, has pledged his full support for the re-election of the incumbent House member, Rep. Jonathan Ukodhiko, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Obomovo made the declaration on Thursday, when he received Rep. Ukodhiko, at his country home in Otor-Owhe, during a solidarity and reconciliation visit following the lawmaker’s emergence as the consensus candidate of the APC for the 2027 House of Representatives election.
The visit, which drew political associates, party faithful, and community leaders, was seen as a major step towards strengthening unity within the APC in the federal constituency ahead of the general elections.
Speaking during the meeting, Obomovo congratulated Rep. Ukodhiko on his emergence as the party’s consensus candidate, describing the decision as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by party leaders and stakeholders across the constituency.
He commended Rep. Ukodhiko for what he described as his inclusive leadership style and commitment to the development of the constituency, assuring that personal ambitions would be set aside in the overall interest of the party and the Isoko people.
According to Obomovo, the task ahead requires collective commitment, unity, and cooperation among party members to ensure victory for the APC in 2027.
