Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State have unanimously endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, in what observers describe as a significant show of unity within the party.
The endorsement was reached during a high-level meeting presided over by Governor Mai Mala Buni, who led party leaders and stakeholders in reaffirming their support for the president’s administration and future ambitions.
Prominent figures at the meeting, included the Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Gaidam; Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Gubana; and former Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
Also in attendance were Senators Musa Mustapha and Ibrahim Bomai.
Other party leaders present arr state APC Chairman, Muhammad Gadaka, former Minister of Power, Abubakar Aliyu, and former Secretary to the State Government, Baba Malam Wali, alongside lawmakers, commissioners, and grassroots stakeholders.
The motion to endorse President Tinubu was moved by Sen. Lawan and seconded by the Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Chiroma Buba Mashio.
It was subsequently adopted unanimously by attendees.

Analysts say the development underscores Gov. Buni’s efforts to maintain cohesion within the party in the state, positioning Yobe State, as a unified bloc within the APC.
The endorsement is also seen as an early signal of political alignment ahead of the next general elections.
Following the meeting, stakeholders held a closed-door session to discuss strategies for grassroots mobilization and consolidating party support across the state.
The endorsement marks a clear statement of loyalty from Yobe APC leaders, reinforcing their backing for President Tinubu’s leadership and policy direction.
