Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has sparked political debate following a strongly worded criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, describing members as “miserably incompetent” and largely unknown to the Nigerian public.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the actor argued that most ministers in the current administration lack visibility and clear impact, suggesting that many Nigerians cannot even identify those occupying key government portfolios.
He further claimed that only a “minute inconsequential few” have managed to stand out, while others, in his view, have failed to demonstrate meaningful leadership or communication with citizens.

Inojie also criticised what he described as the ministers’ reliance on campaign appearances and public events, implying that such activities do little to reflect actual governance performance or policy delivery.
His comments quickly generated reactions online, with supporters praising him for speaking openly, while critics argued that his statement was overly harsh and politically charged.
The remarks add to ongoing public discourse around the performance and visibility of cabinet officials in the administration of President Bola Tinubu, with growing scrutiny over policy communication, economic challenges, and governance outcomes.
