Inter Milan and Juventus are to play this year’s Coppa Italia final after both qualified in the semi-finals to book the final’s spot.
Inter Milan defeated rival neighbour AC Milan 3-0 romp on Tuesday having played a goalless draw in the first leg of the semi-final.
Juventus defeated Fiorentina 3-0 on aggregate after the Old ladies won by a lone goal in the first leg and concluded with a 2-0 victory yesterday.
With Lautaro Martinez’s first-half brace and substitute Robin Gosens’ goal, Inter Milan which trails AC Milan by two points with a game in hand for the Scudetto, were through to would be their eighth Coppa Italia title if they win Juventus.

Juventus has won the Coppa Italia fourteen times and a win against Inter Milan would see the Old Lady record the fifteenth.
This clash between Inter Milan and Juventus is the second right from the inception of the event in 1922 having played each other in the 1964/1965 season where Juventus triumphed over Internazionale to record its fifth Coppa Italia trophy then.
