Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has agreed to a lucrative new contract, extending his stay at Stamford Bridge until 2033, the club has confirmed.
The Ecuadorian international, had been seeking improved terms following a standout season in which he helped Chelsea win the Conference League and the Club World Cup.
Caicedo initially joined Chelsea in 2023 from Brighton in a then-British record £100 million deal, which rose to £115 million.
That record was later surpassed by Liverpool’s £125 million signing of striker Alexander Isak.

Caicedo, regarded as one of the world’s top midfielders, was the only Chelsea player to start every Premier League match under former manager Enzo Maresca last season.
So far this campaign, he has played 42 times, scoring five goals from his defensive midfield role.
Chelsea’s new contract structure reflects the club’s approach to retaining and rewarding key performers.
Captain Reece James was the first to sign an extension under the new framework, and talks with other players, including Enzo Fernandez and Levi Colwill, are ongoing.
Fernandez recently returned from a two-game internal ban following comments about a potential move to Real Madrid.
Speaking during the international break, Caicedo dismissed speculation over a move to Spain, saying: “I’m focused on my club right now. I want to be a legend.”
Chelsea currently sit sixth in the Premier League and are aiming for at least a fifth-place finish to secure Champions League qualification.
Their next fixture is against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
