Preacher Joshua Selman, has donated relief materials worth over ₦200 million to victims affected by the recent attacks in parts of Jos, Plateau State, in a major humanitarian intervention aimed at easing the suffering of displaced families.

The donation, facilitated through Koinonia Eternity Network International, includes a wide range of essential supplies such as food items, clothing, and medical aid targeted at supporting those impacted by the violence.

According to sources within the ministry, the relief materials were distributed to affected communities and internally displaced persons, many of whom have been struggling with shortages of basic necessities following the attacks.

Community leaders in Jos, described the intervention as timely and impactful, noting that many families had been left without shelter, food, or access to healthcare.

“This support has brought immediate relief to people who were in desperate need. It also restores a sense of hope during a very difficult time,” one local official said.

Humanitarian observers say the donation highlights the growing role of faith-based organisations in responding to crises across Nigeria, particularly in regions prone to communal unrest.

Plateau State has witnessed recurring episodes of violence in recent years, often leading to displacement and humanitarian challenges.

Stakeholders have continued to call for increased support from both government and private organisations to assist victims and rebuild affected communities.

The latest intervention by Apostle Selman has been widely praised across social and religious circles, with many commending the gesture as a demonstration of compassion and solidarity.

Analysts note that beyond the material support, such initiatives help foster unity and resilience among affected populations, especially in diverse communities like Jos.

As relief efforts continue, residents and stakeholders are urging sustained assistance and long-term solutions to address the root causes of the crisis and ensure lasting peace in Plateau State.
