The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced that candidates who passed its 2025 zonal general aptitude test have been shortlisted for the selection board interview for recruitment into the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
The disclosure was made in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Ehimen Ejodame.
According to the air force, the names of successful candidates have been published on its official recruitment portal, while the selection board interview is scheduled to hold at the NAF Base in Kaduna from April 27 to June 13, 2026.
“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the zonal general aptitude test conducted across 15 NAF bases on December 5, 2025, are invited to attend the selection board interview for trades and non-tradesmen and women into BMTC 46/2025,” the statement read.

The NAF advised shortlisted candidates to strictly adhere to their assigned batch schedules as indicated on the portal, warning that failure to report on the designated date would result in disqualification.
It also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free, cautioning applicants against making payments at any stage of the process.
“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, and candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment,” the statement added.
The development follows the aptitude test conducted in December 2025, which attracted over 20,000 applicants nationwide and was held across multiple centres, including Sokoto, Kaduna, Enugu, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja, among others.
Ejodame noted that the recruitment process is guided by fairness, transparency, and merit, stressing that selecting qualified personnel remains critical to the Force’s operational effectiveness.
“The Nigerian Air Force remains committed to recruiting the best candidates based on merit, as the quality of personnel is essential to the successful execution of its mandate,” he said.
