The Nigeria Volleyball Federation has announced that two women’s volleyball clubs, the Nigeria Customs Service Female Volleyball Team and Vipers & Partners Female Volleyball Team will represent the country at the forthcoming Africa Women’s Club Volleyball Championship in Egypt.

In a statement issued by the federation on Friday, both teams are expected to depart Nigeria this weekend, fully prepared to compete against top clubs across the continent at the prestigious tournament organised by the Confederation of African Volleyball.

The championship is regarded as one of Africa’s premier volleyball competitions, providing a platform for elite performance, talent exposure, and continental ranking.

Widely regarded as one of the country’s most formidable sides, the team is expected to leverage its experience and tactical strength to make a significant impact at the tournament.

Also representing is the Nigeria is Vipers & Partners, a fast-rising club whose growth reflects increasing private-sector involvement in the development of volleyball in the country.

Their qualification highlights the expanding talent base and the success of grassroots initiatives within the sport.

Speaking ahead of the teams’ departure, President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Musa Nimrod, expressed confidence in the teams’ preparedness and ability to represent the nation with distinction.
