In a dramatic and high-stake operation, U.S. special forces have successfully rescued the second crew member of a downed F-15E fighter jet deep inside Iranian territory.
The airman, who sustained injuries, is now safe following what officials described as a complex and daring mission conducted under intense enemy pressure.
The rescue marks the completion of a two-part recovery effort after both crew members ejected when their aircraft was shot down.
Despite hostile conditions and active pursuit by Iranian forces, all U.S. personnel involved were extracted without fatalities.

President Donald Trump praised the mission as one of the most daring in U.S. military history, highlighting it as a demonstration of American operational reach and resilience.
However, reports indicate the operation involved fierce fighting and significant risks, underscoring the volatile and contested nature of the airspace over Iran amid the ongoing conflict.
