Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, have lined up two high-profile international friendlies against Poland and Portugal as part of preparations for upcoming global competitions.
The fixtures, scheduled for the June international window approved by FIFA, are expected to provide a strong test for the three-time African champions as they fine-tune their squad and tactics.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon, Nigeria will face Poland on June 3 at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw. The team will then travel to Portugal for a second friendly on June 10, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
The encounter with Portugal, known as Seleção das Quinas, carries added significance as it will serve as a final preparatory match for the European side ahead of the FIFA World Cup finals to be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Before the June fixtures, Nigeria will also compete in the Unity Cup Tournament in London from May 26 to May 30, where they are expected to defend their title.
