In a public announcement, the army said the successful applicants are expected to report to the Officer Cadet Training Wing at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry in Jaji, Kaduna State, Nigeria, on Friday, March 27, 2026.

According to the statement, the complete list of successful candidates has been published on the army’s official recruitment portal.

The army instructed candidates to report to the training camp with writing materials, their original credentials and the online printout displaying their passport photographs.

Candidates are also expected to bring several personal items, including three pairs of plain white short-sleeve round-neck vests and royal blue shorts without stripes.

They must also have two pairs of pure white canvas shoes or trainers, as well as two pairs each of maroon round-neck vests and navy blue tracksuits without stripes.

Other required items include two white long-sleeve shirts, one blue long-sleeve shirt, a black tie, a black belt, four pairs of white socks and two pairs of black socks. Candidates are also expected to bring two pairs each of black and white trousers.

Additional items listed include a dark-coloured lounge suit, two sets of national dress or suits with casual wear, a rubber-strapped wristwatch, one pair of black cover shoes, swimming trunks, two white bedsheets with pillowcases, a grey or army-green blanket, football boots and a pressing iron.

Female candidates are required to report with additional items such as one pair of black low-heel cover shoes, four dark-coloured lounge skirts, four pairs of tight black or blue shorts and two trouser suits.

Serving military personnel who were successful in the selection process are also expected to present release letters and official passes from their commanders or commanding officers.

The Nigerian Army warned that any successful candidate who fails to report to the training school on the scheduled date will automatically forfeit the opportunity, and their slot will be allocated to candidates on the reserve list.

The army also advised reserve candidates not to report to the training facility unless they are formally contacted.

According to the statement, no spaces will be available for reserve candidates after April 20, 2026.
