Controversial Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan has targeted the Tinubu administration, expressing discontent with the government’s management of the economy and public policies.
In a widely shared Instagram video, he asserted that many of the warnings he issued to Nigerians during the 2023 election campaign have now become reality.
“I have been raising these concerns since 2023, and everything I predicted has come to pass.
“Back then, the dollar hadn’t even reached ₦1,000. Just think about where President Bola Tinubu started and where we are now,” he stated.
VeryDarkMan also criticized the government’s choice to eliminate fuel subsidies, arguing that this decision was initially presented as a means to enhance sectors like healthcare and education.

He noted that the anticipated improvements in public services have not occurred, citing struggling public hospitals, issues within the education system, and reports of Nigerian students facing challenges abroad.
“They claimed that removing the subsidy would lead to better education and healthcare. But look at the situation now.
“Doctors are on strike, public hospitals are failing, and our schools continue to struggle. Everything they promised has fallen apart. So where is the money from the subsidy?” he questioned.
The activist concluded by asserting that a leader should only be re-elected if they provide effective governance and improve the quality of life for their citizens.
