President of the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB), Bouchra Hajij, presided over the General Assembly of CAVB Zone 3 held in Accra, Ghana, bringing together representatives from national federations within the zone to deliberate on the development and growth of volleyball in the region.
The assembly served as an important platform for member federations to review activities, assess progress, and outline strategic plans for the upcoming period.
Key discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening regional competitions, expanding youth and grassroots volleyball programmes, and improving collaboration among member federations across the zone.
In her remarks, Hajij emphasized the importance of unity, transparency, and active participation by all member federations in advancing the sport across Zone 3.

She reaffirmed CAVB’s commitment to supporting development initiatives, capacity building, and creating more opportunities for athletes and officials across the region.

The Zone 3 General Assembly concluded with a renewed commitment from member countries to work collectively toward strengthening volleyball structures and ensuring the sustainable growth of the sport within the region.
