The Rivers State House of Assembly has unveiled a nine-man list of commissioner nominees forwarded to it by Governor Siminalaye Fubara for screening.
The names of the nominees had remained a subject of conjecture as it was alleged that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, was the one who compiled the names.
Interestingly, the names released by the clerk of the assembly on Tuesday as nominees are scarcely heard of before in both the public and private spheres in the state.
None of the former commissioners featured in the nine- man list.

Others are Mr. Lekue Kenneth, Otonye Amachree, and Amairigha Edward Hart
The statement by the Clerk of the assembly, Emeka Amadi, directed the nominees to submit 40 sets of their curriculum vitae, photocopies of credentials, and evidence of compliance with tax obligations to the office of the clerk of the House at the Rivers State House of Assembly Quarters.
