The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has commenced the sale of application forms for the 2026 Direct Entry programme.
In a notice shared on its official X account, the examination body announced that registration began on Monday, March 2, 2026, and will close on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
JAMB clarified that all stages of the Direct Entry registration process, including the purchase of e-PINs and application documents, must be completed strictly at its accredited state and zonal offices nationwide. The board advised prospective candidates to avoid unofficial channels in order to prevent errors or fraud.
The Direct Entry programme allows candidates with advanced qualifications such as a National Diploma, National Certificate in Education, Interim Joint Matriculation Board certificate, A-levels, or other approved equivalents to secure admission into the 200 level of university programmes. Beneficiaries of this pathway are not required to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe and ensure all documentation meets JAMB’s admission requirements.
