The Ogun State Police have taken TikTok user Mirabel into custody following an investigation into her viral allegations of being raped, slashed with a blade, and coerced into consuming poison by an unidentified man.
Neighbors reported no signs of a break-in, heard no screams, and noted that she seemed normal when she left with a man. Phone records and text messages contradicted her account of the events.
She provided inconsistent statements and declined a comprehensive medical and forensic examination offered by authorities and NGOs.

The investigation is ongoing. False accusations harm genuine victims and will be taken seriously.
